Abbotts Park clean up

Cllr. Farooq Qureshi, the Friends of Abbotts Park and other residents along with the Council's Environment Manager, inspected Abbotts Park. A number of issues were discussed that require urgent attention. The following actions have been indicated:

  • To clean the area at the rear of the toilets

  • To clean up and repair the toilets inside the park

  • To treat the weeds at ground level and over the roof of the toilet building

  • To investigate and repair the leak in the gents toilets.

Further meetings will be held to decide measures needed to tidy up the rest of the park.
