Clyde Kitson, checking the problem when the Underpass was flooding regularly

As many of you will know a fire in the Cathall underpass made it dangerous and so it had to be boarded up. In the past this underpass has been neglected by the council and it has often flooded. While the council has the money to carry out repairs, they cannot tell us when the work is to be done. Leyton and Wanstead Liberal Democrats call for this to be done and for regular maintenance to be carried out on this important thoroughfare. Let's hope it doesn't take too long!!
